All county teams

How much should strength of schedule come into play when picking these all county/area teams and if you’re a coach that has been ducking the better teams in your area how do you have the stones to come in to an all county/area meeting and try to take a spot from a more deserving player …. As the coach you know you was ducking competition the kids and the parents might not know but you know ….. what do y’all think
