CIF Playoff Emergency

Ten days left and there are so many teams lower than where they should be, coaches on non-playoff teams cannot be trusted to enter scores, and the Colley Rankings are flat out awful. CIF needs to switch to Massey only and remove anyone from the advisory board who thought it was a good idea to use the black sheep of the BCS rankings.

Under Colley, the maximum victory margin a team can win by is one point. This may work at levels where parity is consistent, however HS Girls basketball has no such competitive balance. This is why the rankings are getting worse for the lower divisions.

If nothing changes, some schools would be better off sending JV to playoffs and organizing an invitational division for all the outlying schools and at larges who normally would have made playoffs under a better system.
