: Its all about match ups, boys and girls both have the issues of the blow outs. The last few years has definitely been a challenge with scheduling for some teams with COVID cancellations. That may be why you saw teams take games they shouldnt have. You'll still have your blowouts in early rounds of tournaments and leagues but hopefully ADs and coaches can get to scheduling a little more realistic this year.
And the all-star team building mentality contributes to this in boys and girls sports. Heck, the other night Centennial's football team was up 77-0 at halftime.
