: : Max preps has Rosemead ranked 225 vs CIF has them at 386... so a 161 position difference!!! Gabrielino is 279 for max preps and 443 for CIF for 164 position difference. Then they got a first round away game against Calvary Baptist, no offense to Calvary, but they are going to lose by 30. A lot of problems with that last bracket.

The new system sucks. Maxpreps is a little better, but still flawed. What needs to happen is that each league, and I know there are a lot, needs to have one representative meet in January to put out an initial ranking. Coaches know who is good, who is up and coming, who belongs where. Then they meet at the end of the year and do a final ranking where the playoff committee can use to choose the top 32 in each division.
