One of the things CIF has done to try and get the schedules right is when a coach is on the CIFSSHOME page and looking at their scores it is now asking to confirm with scores from Maxpreps. So many coaches still have not entered scores on the CIFSSHome page which is where they are asking. So all these records that you see wrong is 100% due to the coach of that school not following the directive of CIF to enter scores on CIFSSHOME after games. CIF has sent numerous emails(i've gotten at least 5 since the year began) and they keep saying schools will be ineligible for playoffs if they dont enter the scores.

There are still a lot of games to be played but I'm sure it wont be until the last couple weeks when some coaches will finally decide to enter scores and then you will see some teams make big jumps like what will happen to Luezinger and St Marys

: : : : : I am a coach who is in the top 50. My Maxpreps is 100 percent accurate. My Home Campus is 100 percent accurate. I clicked on my team ranking and it sends me to scrapbook live where my score is inputted twice. Clearly the issue is scorebook live and their partnership with CIF. I also don't want to hear it will work itself out. On average most teams have played 65 percent of their games. There will not be a ton of movement. A little yes. But not a lot.

: : : : Using MaxPreps or SBLive or any computer ranking is going to be flawed. The computer sucks and does not take into account anything. The computer algorithm is flawed and will give more weight to a win than a loss. You could play the softest schedule possible and be ranked in the top 25. Luckily there will still be CIF coaches committees that will be able to fix what is flawed but even then these coaches will still watch out for themselves and their friends and try to put their friends and their teams in a winnable division. So no matter what there will be corruption. But this is what CIF and SCIBCA wants. Everyone would cry about how its not fair to have good teams down in the lower divisions so CIF went to competitive equality and there were still whining and complaining well this is the answer. There will be bugs and problems but until the next answer comes this is it so enjoy the computer and the corruption.

: : : :SCIBCA specifically told CIF that there should still be a human element that takes into consideration of sit out period transfers, injuries, coaches tanking games, etc. CIF's response was all sports have to follow the competitive equity formula established for each sport based on the blue book bylaw passed by the CIF council.

: : CIF wanted it this way so they can pick and choose winners. Who ever came up with this insane idea should be fired.

: Pick and Choose winners? They literally cannot make any picks in this system, it is 100% computer selected divisions with 0 human ability to alter the divisions to move a team around.

Wolfe and Colley do not post their rankings so we can’t verify them. Massey is the only transparent rankings index, so we have no idea if CIF is manipulating their (aptly named?) Royalty Rankings. Also, coaches/ADs entering scores is an unreliable system, just look at the past few seasons on the CIF website. Two teams have claimed a win for the same game before.

Interesting to see how many teams will be excluded from playoffs because they didn’t enter scores, and who will be allowed in anyway without entering every score, just to create or avoid certain early matchups. CIF could even add or remove scores and we would be none the wiser, two of the three indexes are not available to the public.

They literally cannot make any picks in this system, it is 100% computer selected divisions with 0 human ability to alter the divisions to move a team around. : Wolfe and Colley do not post their rankings so we can’t verify them. Massey is the only transparent rankings index, so we have no idea if CIF is manipulating their (aptly named?) Royalty Rankings. Also, coaches/ADs entering scores is an unreliable system, just look at the past few seasons on the CIF website. Two teams have claimed a win for the same game before. : Interesting to see how many teams will be excluded from playoffs because they didn’t enter scores, and who will be allowed in anyway without entering every score, just to create or avoid certain early matchups. CIF could even add or remove scores and we would be none the wiser, two of the three indexes are not available to the public.
