The truth is in girls basketball there are many teams that don't really have girls who know how to play basketball and the scores can get ugly like this. But the winning coaches in these lopsided scores should have some discretion. It's pretty clear after 10-0 that you shouldn't need to press and can work on half court defense. It's also clear you can work on offensive execution instead of fast break layups. Which are 2 things you will need when you play hard teams. I've seen this year after year with these good teams that kill bad teams and then come playoffs they can run a set for a good shot because they relied on fast break layups all season and just being better. And there are so many sets you can easily work on. Like last shot of a quarter and we need to milk it under 10 before we shoot. So rarely practiced against another team and here you have a chance to do it over and over.
