Coach states that mistreatment from parents is the reason. Coach Carey won a CIF championship at Wilson a few years ago and resigned once before but came back to Wilson and now resigns again. I know parents are a handful and some love to criticize coaches and players for their actions but to have a coach resign midseason over this is new. It shows how toxic parents have become and it especially shows how toxic the parents are at LB Wilson. If I were a middle school parent in the Long Beach area, I would stay away from LB Wilson until these parents leave. No use going to a school where the parents force a coach to resign. LB Wilson has a rich history in sports and it is interesting how the school and administrators at LB Wilson let this happen.
