As long as you finish at or above .500 in the top 3 divisions you look to have a spot in the playoffs
Division 1 - 40 teams (take 8 out for Open Division), 32 left
Div 2AA - 32 teams
Div 2A - 32 teams
At least they are rewarding the programs that have had some success and are placed in these divisions with a guaranteed playoff spot if they go .500
that is a positive
and then 5A - 155 schools and still may have trouble filling a 32 team bracket
