Los Altos Summer Varsity Tournament – June 6-8 (Fri, Sat, Sun)

Coaches,

We will be hosting our annual Summer Varsity Tournament on June 6-8 (Fri, Sat, Sun).

4-5 Game Guarantee, 12-20 Teams the past several summers.

We can give you later game times on Friday, if needed due to summer school.

All games will be played at Los Altos HS and Workman HS.

Last Summer 2024 - 12 Team Varsity Tournament Field

Los Altos, Ayala, Banning, Huntington Park, Mark Keppel, Northview, Pioneer, San Marino, South Gate, South Hills, Sunny Hills and Workman.

Cost for Varsity Tournament is $280.

There will be a Coaches Hospitality Room, along with T-Shirts to the Champions, Team Plaques for the Top Teams and an All-Tournament Team.

Boys Basketball Varsity, JV and Freshmen Summer Leagues - All Games Tuesday and Thursdays.

We have been hosting our Varsity, JV and Freshmen Summer Leagues for over 25 years now.

Each team will get 9 games between May 27 through July 10 depending on your school’s dead period or you can play less than 9 games if needed. We have a flexible schedule to try and get you the full 9 games over the 14 dates. Freshmen games will not begin until June 5 or can be later for those that need to start later.

All games will be played at Los Altos, Workman, La Puente and some dates at Nogales and maybe one other high school, if needed.

The Varsity games will be played between 3:00-5:30pm and the JV and Freshmen games will be played between 4:00-8:30pm. We can be flexible with these game times and try to schedule your teams together as much as possible.

Our Annual Summer Varsity Tournament will be held June 6-8 (Fri, Sat, Sun), if interested.

The 57 teams that were in our 3 leagues last Summer 2024 are listed below.

VARSITY (23 TEAMS)
LOS ALTOS, ARTESIA, AZUSA, BELL GARDENS, BISHOP AMAT, BOSCO TECH, CHARTER OAK, EDGEWOOD, EL MONTE, LA HABRA, LA PUENTE, LA SERNA, PIONEER, SIERRA VISTA, SOUTHLANDS CHR., SOUTH EL MONTE, SOUTH HILLS, TEMPLE CITY, WEST COVINA, WHITTIER, WILSON, WORKMAN and LA White.

JUNIOR VARSITY (20 TEAMS)
LOS ALTOS, BELL GARDENS, BISHOP AMAT, BOSCO TECH, CHARTER OAK, DIAMOND BAR, EDGEWOOD, LA HABRA, LA PUENTE, LA SERNA, NORTHVIEW, PIONEER, SAN MARINO, SONORA, TEMPLE CITY, WEST COVINA, WILSON, WORKMAN and LA White.

FRESHMEN (14 TEAMS)
LOS ALTOS, BOSCO TECH, CHARTER OAK, LA PUENTE, LA SERNA, PIONEER, SAN MARINO, SONORA, TEMPLE CITY, WEST COVINA, WILSON, WORKMAN and LA White.

If you have any time requests, any other requests or if you need to start a date or two later, let me know. The schedule is flexible.

There will be an admission fee for all spectators with the exception of players and coaches.

Checks should be made out to Los Altos Boys Basketball c/o-Jeff Lucas on envelope when mailed.

$490 for each league (9 games) or $60 per game if not playing the full 9 games. Ref fees keep going up.
