1.J-Serra Has the best talent in Orange County and Coach Wilkinson does a great job! B.J. Davis Ray is a 4 Star from Texas and can score at all 3 levels, one of the best players in California. Brannon Martinson is one of the best Juniors in the state and left Mater dei to go here. The Belgium forward provides good size with other Bigs. Transfer players Bolton from Laguna Hills and Grayson Sinek from La Habra provide good depth at the guard position.
2.Santa Margarita is loaded with 4 D-1 players! The addition of Kaden Bailey provides a Elite Scoring guard! Washington has committed to Long Beach state, a very good 4/5 athlete. Kyman is a solid 2-4 who can score, pass, rebound and signed at Washington State.
3.Mater Dei has always been the best Team in Orange County. With the loss of thier best player Brandon Benjamin and now Brannon Martinson, it could be tough to repeat as the Trinity champion. The good news is Verna is a 4 year starter and signed at St.Joes. Davidson provides a good 4/5 who plays hard and signed at Reno. A few transfers have come in, but do not have the 3-5 D-1 players like the past. A good Coaching staff should keep them in the mix.
4.Crean Lutheran has reloaded and has some very good talent and young players! Could be very good at the end of the season and playoffs.
6.Pacifica Christian Has a 4 years starter in Spillman and a good cast of players who play well together! They always play hard and smart, so will have good chemistry.
7.Fairmont Prep again has some talent and could be a good lower Division CIF playoff team. Like the rest of the teams, noone wants to have to play in the Open division.
8.Orange Lutheran has two good Athletic bigs who can block shots,run the floor,and finish at the rim. A good point guard in Jordan Lee and a few good role players to beat a lot of teams.
9.Capistrano Valley Christian has a good starting 5, but not much depth. Look for them to be a "Spoiler in a lower Divsion Playoff"!
10. Servite is in the Trinity League and will probably go 0-10, lost 4 solid players. They always play hard and have a great home court advantage "The Asylum"!
