: : : : This year seems like it is full of talent!
: : : : Who do you guys think will win OCPOY?
: : : : Also who are the top guys in the county this year?
: : : : Some of the transfers that happened recently were quite a surprise.
: : : : Brandon Benjamin back to Canyon is interesting, The Bailey kid is playing for his dad at Calvary Chapel and a few others.
: : : : What are your guys opinions on these things??
: : : Benjamin will be player of the year, he will be ball dominant
: : : The kid they got to replace Bailey at Crean will have a huge season.
: : : Here are some players at local public schools (in no particular order):
: : : Acen Jimenez at La habra
: : : Gray, Trevino, Guyness, and Minter at Los Al
: : : Barajas and Gomez at Marina
: : : Nakra and Scott at cdm
: : : Johnson and Oei at Edison
: : : Hodges and Aziz at San Juan Hills
: : : Gov and Birdsong at Cypress
: : : Any Others?
: : The two guards at San Clemente are the best public school duo.
: Brandon Benjamin or Colin Haugh will be player of the year. Martinsen and Barnett are the two best players, but they won't be as ball dominant.
: Bailey is not at Calvary any longer. Where will he end up? Mater Dei?
Brandon Benjamin will be the "Player of the Year"!Wish players could play 1 on 1 to determine the best player if there was a tie? Brandon was player of the year as Sophomore! He is one of the best Rebounders and passers and always wins! Colin is a great scorer/shooter and could average 30-40 a game. Martinson is really good and should be a great College player! Mater Dei is the best Team in Orange County and has depth this year, so he will not average 30 a game. Bailey is a Elite Guard who will help Santa Margarita challenge Mater Dei and St. John Bosco. Him and Martinson should battle for the POY in 2026. There is some very good other players and see our Scouting Service for the top 20 players in Orange County this year.
