Redondo Mira Costa Tournament--(October 30, 1997)

Redondo and Mira Costa High Schools will be jointly hosting the Annual Pacific Shores Tournament. It's either the 46th or the 48th time this tourney has been held, depending upon whom you believe. I'll go with Michael Miller at WestCoastHoops.com who says its the 48th. The Tournament will take place from December 1-6, and pool play will be at both Mira Costa and Redondo, with the finals at Redondo.

Not to repeat the stuff already at WestCoastHoops.com, but to spread the news of what should be a very good tournament, we are going to tell you that Coach Jim Nielsen of Redondo has arranged some pretty exciting matchups. So far the teams featured will be: Redondo Beach; Fairfax; Gardena Serra; Artesia; Banning LA; Bell; Carson; Christian Brothers (Memphis); Hawthorne; Locke; L.B. Jordan; Mira Costa; Morningside; Palisades; St. Bernard ; and Torrance.

Again, the tourney is Dec 1-6, 1997 at both schools with the finals at Redondo High School Dec 6. For information call Coach Nielsen at (310) 798-8665 ext. 2047. (Actually don't call him, he's pretty busy).
