A Few Bits and Pieces, and Some Michelle Greco-(10/24/97)

Here's some assorted stuff:

Coaching changes at SoCal High Schools-- Mitch Ruiz, formerly the boys' assistant basketball coach at Carpinteria High, has been named the head girls' basketball coach, replacing Don Montgomery.

Add Coaching Changes--Mary Klemm will replace Al Walker as the girls' basketball coach at Rio Mesa High School in Ventura County. Klemm was the JV girls' coach last year, and is a 1988 graduate of Buena High (the school that Ian Boys transferred from this past year). She played her college basketball at Arizona.

Michelle Greco-- The Crescenta Valley star, who was 1996-97 Times player of the year, will take her third "official visit" to USC this weekend. She's already been to UCSB and UCLA, and is scheduled to visit Colorado next week. Most people believe that she will announce on Nov 12, the first day of the early signing period.
