The Ghost of Cassidy Returns at LMU--(October 31, 1997)

Remember Pete Cassidy, the former CSUN coach who haunted the Matadome (before it was called the Matadome) for 25 years before being replaced by Bobby Braswell? Heeeeee's baaaaack. This time though, he's got a team of former college players, and they're going to barnstorm the country, playing 15 different college teams in a span of 17 days. You can see them this weekend at 3 p.m. take on the LMU team, at Loyola Marymount on Sunday. No word yet on who the players on his team are, but they are calling themselves the "California All Stars". Cassidy has set up games against schools such as Pittsburgh, NC State, LSU, Kansas State, and Missouri. Check it out if your not busy this Sunday.
