Double Pump, Inc. Presents "Pump 'n Run Basketball Academy"

When: Every Sunday, Starting October 5, 1997
Where: Montclair Prep
Info: Call 1-800-678-0935

What is it:

A year-round offensive and defensive skills development program for players of all age levels who want to bring their game to it's highest level. The program is divided into two major divisions (1) high school players and (2) younger players. This program comes highly recommended, including this from George Karl : "Dana Pump and his staff can take your game to the next level".

The Academy will be administered by Dana Pump. The Pump brothers are nationally recognized for their support and promotion of prep basketball. They annually host the West Coast's most prestigious basketball events, including the West Coast All Star Camps, the Pump Discovery Shootouts, and the California State All Star Basketball Dame. They've been doing this for the last 15 years, and have access to some of the best basketball instructional resources, including some of the best shooting and defensive coaches and pro players who sometimes drop by unannounced.

I spoke to Dana about the camp last weekend, where, during the first session, renowned shooting skill expert Dave Hopla attended. Dana is excited about the Academy and told me that they would have some "really special" guests stopping by. If this is anything like the other events and camps the Pumps have run, then it'll be well worth it to attend. The cost is $100.00 per month. If the coaches will all be as good as Hopla is, then it's money well spent.
