It's Official: Young and Barnes Sign--(November 14, 1997)

It must be official, because both the L.A. Times and the Daily News say it's so: Ray Young ( 6'-3" Sr SG Alameda St. Joseph) and Matt Barnes (6'-8" Sr PF Fair Oaks (Sacramento) Del Campo High) have both sent, and UCLA has received, their signed National Letters of Intent.

Congratulations to Young and Barnes, and to Lavin. Now if Lavin can only convince Baron to stay one more year. . .
