UCI Irvine Signs Two to
Become Anteaters--(November 20, 1997)

Stan Divranos a 6'-8' 230 pound forward-center from Whitby, Ontario who has played at Butte Community College, in Butte, California, has signed a National Letter of Intent to transfer to UC Irvine next year.

He will be joined by Mark Gottschalk, a 6'-10" 230 lb center who is a senior this year at Trout Lake High School, in White Salmon, Washington.

We haven't seen either of these guys play, but Coach Pat Douglass and new assistant coach Cameron Dollar are very excited about the prospect of signing two very big and talented players. Congratulations Anteaters.
