Cal Hi Sports Ranks Simi No. 10 in the State--(November 14, 1997)

Simi Valley High School, coached by Dean Bradshaw, and which features Shaun Michel (6'-1" Fr PG), Branduinn Fullove, (6'-4" Soph SG), Brett Michel (6'-6" Soph SF), Ian Boys (6'-7" Sr PF/C), and Rafael Berumen (6'-9" Jr C), has been ranked by Cal Hi Sports as the No. 10 team in the State in it's preseason top 20 basketball poll. Berumen has also been ranked as a pre-season All-State selection.

You can see Simi when they host their own tournament, the 13th Annual Simi Valley Tip-Off Classic, December 2-6, 1997, with games played in the pool-play at both Simi and Camarillo Highs, and the finals will be at Simi. North Hollywood (Arsen Ekemia,(5'-9" Sr. PG), Keron Wilkerson (6'6" Sr. F), Chinnua Wright (6'3 Sr. F), DeJon Lee(5'-10" Sr. PG), and Edward Baisden- (6'7" Sr. C)- will initially matchup against Simi Valley at 6:30 pm on December 2, 1997.
