Non-Conference Community College
Men's Basketball--(November 21, 1997)

In a non-conference game last night, Moorpark Community College defeated Golden West Community College's men's team, 73-70. Ceneka Shaw of Moorpark broke a 67-67 tie on a dunk with only 1:38 left in the game, to give the Moorpark Raiders a lead which they never relinquished. Todd Jones of Golden West hit for 17 points and had 9 rebounds in the Rustlers' loss to visiting Moorpark.

Moorpark is now 3-0, while Golden West dropped to 0-2 in non-conference pre-season play.
