Eddie Miller Signs With WSU--(November 18, 1997)

Another Ventura College basketball star has found another home now that the VC program has been suspended. Eddie Miller, (6'-8" F 220 lbs) has signed a letter of intent to attend Washington State University next season. Miller was the WSC's Player of the Year last season. He will not play this season, and will finish out classes at VC. Miller was also a standout player at Chatsworth High. Congratulations Eddie.

Yesterday we also noted that the University of San Francisco had signed James Lee, (6'-5" F/SG) one of VC's other star players. Expect others to find homes too. VC was a fine program, and two years ago was the State Champion, WSC Champion; one thing Virgil Watson could do (in addition to committing recruiting violaltions) was spot good talent.
