Brandon Loyd to Star in
Phantom of the Opera--(November 10, 1997)

Seems that we neglected to report yesterday on Brandon Loyd's broken nose. In the second 15 minute scrimmage, Loyd was hit pretty hard across the face, and was taken off the floor with a towel covering his nose. He'll be fitted for a full face mask this week. Seriously. The LA Times says its so. I didn't see him at the autograph signing session after the scrimmage which was held outside Pauley on the North Concourse, so it must have been a pretty serious break.
