Jamal O'Quinn Signs
with Boise State--(November 19, 1997)

We just received confirmation that Jamal O'Quinn (6'-6" Sr SF) from Lakewood Artesia has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Boise State next year. Jamal's a very quick, explosive player, who has a great handle, and likes to slash to the basket. He'll need to work on his outside shooting, but he's got a great inside game.

He'll join some other SoCal players next year, including Scotty Graham (6'-5" Fr. G) from Harbor City, CA (Long Beach Jordan HS), Gerry Washington (6'-1" Jr. G) from Inglewood, CA (Brentwood School), and Kejuan Woods (6'-6" Fr. F) from Inglewood, CA (Crossroads HS). That makes four major SoCal players for coach Rod Jensen next year.
