Tourney Update: Annual Gahr-Cerritos
Basketball Tournament--(November 30, 1997)

Here's a reminder. Basketball season for high schools really gets underway this week. There are a bunch of tournaments, and we'll be featuring reminders for all of the ones we've noted in our Tournaments Section, or those we hear about in the next few days SoCal. Here's one we've had up for some time now:

The Annual Gahr-Cerritos Tournament gets start Tuesday December 2, and runs through Saturday December 6, 1997.

Games will be played at Gahr and Cerritos Highs for pool play; finals will be at Gahr.

Schools attending and games scheduled for 1st rounds are:

At Gahr High:
Tuesday 12/2:
Norwalk v. Royal 6:00 pm
Pioneer v. Gahr 7:30 pm

At Cerritos High:
Tuesday 12/2:
Huntington Park v. Mayfair 6:00 pm
Millikan v. Cerritos, 7:30 pm

Wednesday 12/3:
Wilson v. Gardena 6:00 pm
Centennial v. Artesia, 7:30 pm

Wednesday 12/3:
Bellflower v. Narbonne 6:00 pm
St. John Bosco v. Duarte 7:30 pm;

Quarterfinals:
Thursday 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm both locations

Semifinals:
Friday 4:30 and 7:30 pm both locations

Finals:
Saturday 12/6 at Gahr.
