Fullerton College Men's Basketball
Tournament--(November 21, 1997)

In addition to the Irvine Valley Bill Mulligan Men's Basketball Tournament, there is also another Community College tourney going on: The Fullerton Men's Basketball Tournament.

Tonight's semifinal games feature Saddleback against the Los Angeles Valley College Monarchs (actually they're from Van Nuys, but that's a different story) in the first game which starts at 5:30 p.m. (just about now)

In the second game, slated for 7:30 p.m Fullerton Community College will play Palomar CC.

Last night, Saddleback defeated L.A. Southwest College 76-64, in a game in which Marshall Freeman scored 17, and grabbed 6 boards. We aren't certain who Valley College beat to make it to the semi's but if we find out we'll let you in on it.

The championship game is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Fullerton College, which is located at 321 E. Chapman Ave., Fullerton, CA 92832-2095. You can phone (714) 992-7000 for information (if they're answering over the weekend).
