CSUN Stuns Sons of
Blue Angels--(November 11, 1997)

In yet another exhibition game, Bobby Braswell's CSUN team won easily 109-72 over the Sons of Blue Angels team. CSUN forward Jabari Simmons (6'-7" Jr.) socred 24 points and had 11 boards to lead the Matadors on Monday night. Simmons so far has a total of 57 points and 24 rebounds in CSUN's two exhibition games.

Mike O'Quinn, a senior transfer scored 22 points and had seven assists. It was O'Quinn's first game after he was suspended by Braswell. Center Kevin Taylor, recovering from a sprained ankle, scored 12 points and had 11 rebounds, while Lucky Gundy a senior guard scored 15 points, shooting 100% (6-6) from the field. Braswell's got to be a happy guy after this one.
