Get Mad at Midnight Too--(November 14, 1997)

Bellarmine-Jefferson High School, located in Burbank will also hold its version of Midnight Madness this Saturday night, November 15, starting at 9:00 p.m. There will be the usual three point shooting contests, slam dunk contests, food, drinks, prizes, and, oh yeah, there will also be Ruben Douglas (6'-4" Sr PG/SG) who has committed to, and is in the process of signing with, Lute Olsen's Arizona Wildcats. No word on whether Kenny Esteves (6'-7" Jr. C) will be there, but he's not playing at Bell-Jeff this season anyway, and as we earlier reported will be moving to Washington to live with his mother.

Even without Kenny this year, it should be an impressive season for the Guards. Ruben has also been ranked by Cal Hi Sports as one of its top preseason All-State Players.
