The "Sweet 16". So who's still left standing?

Well, the first eight teams are Vegas locals (get used to the words "Las Vegas", you'll be seeing that a lot from now on in this article):

1. Las Vegas Valley
2. Las Vegas H.S.
3. Las Vegas Clark
4. Las Vegas Rancho
5. Las Vegas Western
6. Las Vegas Chaparral
7. Las Vegas Eldorado
8. Las Vegas Durango

Then there's an Arizona team:

9. Phoenix Shadow Mtn

Then there are two teams from Central California:

10. Fair Oaks Del Campo
11. Modesto Christian

And finally, the five remaining SoCal teams:

12. Chadwick
13. Duarte
14. Irvine Woodbridge
15. Mira Costa
16. Gardena Serra

So who did the tournament organizers match up against each other? Let's take a look at the scores from Saturday's second round to see who was left standing:

Las Vegas Valley 80, Las Vegas Clark 74
Las Vegas H.S. 70, Chadwick, CA 39
Modesto Christian 76, Las Vegas Eldorado 58
Las Vegas Rancho 97, Gardena, CA, Serra 90
Las Vegas Durango 64, Duarte 59
Las Vegas Western 69 Las Vegas Chaparral 66
Phoenix Shadow Mtn. 80, Mira Costa, CA 53

Only one out of nine from SoCal. It's not looking too good for our SoCal homeboys.
