Orange
County League Games From
The Times And OC Register--(January 18, 1998)
Who says we can't compile reports of almost all the games in SoCal, from Bakersfield in the North, to Santa Barbara, Ventura, Northern LA, Central LA, Pasadena, San Diego, and Orange County. We're still looking for a reliable source for Riverside and San Bernardino, and until we find one, there will continue to be a sort of "blackout", not because we want it that way, but because we just can't seem to find anyone willing to write to us about Inland Empire Hoops. We've had some reports lately from Inflight Basketball about Temecula and Southern Riverside County, but nothing really from the heart of San Bernardino.
Anyway, we don't want to be accused of overlooking Orange County action, so here are a compilation of reports we've pieced together from various sources, including the LA Times, the Orange County Register, and from those of our correspondents who managed to make it some of these games.

Foothill 71, Canyon 65--
Foothill's Larry Cambra made nine three-pointers as the Knights upset sixth-ranked Canyon, 71-65, in a Century League boys' basketball game Friday at Foothill.
