Valley Stats Leaders--(February 11, 1998)

Last week we reported the stats leaders from the Pomona Valley area. Well, here they are again, except this time they are more complete, and include people such as Jerry Green of Pomona, who is, we understand from Mike Miller, being recruited by USC and quite a few other D-1 schools, including Fullerton and possibly some other Pac-10 schools. Jerry is the stats leader in scoring, averaging 30.1 through last week's games, and is also averaging 5.8 assists per game, which tells you right away that this guy is quickly becoming a very complete player. And this week, we've finally managed to track down the Glendora stats leaders and have inserted them in as well, such as Casey Jacobsen, who is averaging 29.2 and Chris Clark who is averaging 17.1. Anyway, in preparation for the "end of season" stats leaders, which hopefully we'll have next week, here are the leaders as of last week's games (i.e., as of February 6).
