Eagle Rock Tourney: First
Round Games--(December 29, 1997)

We got a listing for this one on our Tournament pages, which we received from Venice Coach Dave Goosen (at least that's where we think we got it), so be sure to check it out.

This tournament features all City Section teams (except for St. Mary's), so if you want to see some of the better Division 3A teams battle it out, head over to Eagle Rock High. The tournament will run through Tuesday.

In the first round, North Hollywood beat Garfield 65-64, and Taft demolished Bravo Medical Magnet 62-36. Is there a doctor in the house? This is the ER Tourney after all. Keron Wilkerson scored 30 points for the Huskies. Dejon Lee added 13 points for North Hollywood, which improved to 7-5. Alex Romero had 25 for Garfield. In Taft's surgical strike ( :-)) Amir Bar-Netzer had 25 points and 11 rebounds, and Harold Shevlin had 17 points for Taft, which improved to 5-2.
