Eagle Rock Tournament Announcement--(December 16,1997)

Here's another tournament which we just heard about and for those of you who will be in town during the holidays, it's going to be a fine showcase of LAUSD teams (mostly). The tournament will take place at Eagle Rock High School (which is located just east of Glendale, and just west of Pasadena), on December 26, 27, 29, and 30. They'll be taking Sunday off because LA City Section CIF games can't be played on Sunday.

Here's the first day's schedule. We'll be getting the brackets and times for other games, but in the meantime, you'll have to make do with this.

9:30 a.m.--Taft v. Bravo Magnet
11:00 a.m. -- Poly v. Wilson
12:30 p.m.--Venice v. Belmont
2:00 p.m.-- North Hollywood v. Garfield
3:30 p.m.-- University v. Lincoln
5:00 p.m. Marshall v. Roosevelt
6:30 p.m. El Camino Real v. Gardena
8:00 p.m. St. Margaret's v. Bell

As you'll note, the only non-City Section team is St. Margaret's. This should be a fine tournament, and if you get to see the Venice-Belmont or North Hollywood-Garfield games, those should be worth the price of admission.
