Southern Pacific Shootout
Final Scores & Results--(Sept. 23, 1998)

We weren't able to make it over to the Southern Pacific Shootout held this past Saturday and Sunday but we did get the final scores from all the games from Dart Stamps, who faxed them over to our offices Sunday night. Unfortunately we were out for two days and just received them, so here they are. As far as the composition of most of these teams, your best bet if you are really unfamiliar with them would be to look at the rosters we posted from the Long Beach Fall Hoops Classic the week before, since most of the teams playing had the same guys show up, with minor exceptions where some of those players were at the Pump Discovery Shootout over at CSUDH. Anyway here are the scores. And Frank Burlison reported yesterday that The Hood, led Keith Kincade's 22 points, knocked off And 1 (mostly Orange County players, and a lot of former SCA players, like DeAngelo Collins (6'-8" Fr. C)) by a final score of 82-57, in the title game of held on Sunday night at Westchester High in LA.
