List Of Rim Rattler Fall Showcase Senior Participants--(Sept. 24, 1998)

As we reported yesterday, Dinos Trigonis and Etop Udo-Ema will host the 1998 1st Annual Rim Rattler Fall Showcase on Saturday, September 26, 1998 at Long Beach City College. There will be four games: At 1:00 p.m. a Top 24 HS Sophomore Game; at 3:00 p.m. a Top 30 HS Junior Game, at 5:00 p.m. a Top 50 HS Senior Game, at 7:00 p.m. a Top 25 HS Senior Game, and at 9:00 p.m. a Top 25 JUCO Game.

We do note that the designations have slightly changed from the earlier list we were faxed, and it seems pretty evident that now the 3:00 p.m. Junior game will not feature 30 players, but that the juniors who play will be ranked among the "Top 50" in their class. At least that's the way it looks, given that there are 24 juniors total on the list of participants below. Likewise, the "Top 50" designation would seem to relate to "ranking" rather than the number of participants in the game, but there are quite a few seniors slated to participate, and it looks like they'll be split up into a number of teams.

Dinos sent us the list of participants at 9/23 at 11:44 p.m., so we'll presume that it's at least accurate as of then. Of course, things could change by game time, but here's who's coming so far:
