San Deigo Future Stars To Play
At Pump Discovery Shootout--(Sept. 10, 1998)

We've heard that coach Fentriss Winn of The Bishop's School will be bringing the entire San Diego Future Stars Team to the Pump Discovery Shootout on September 19 & 20 at Cal State Dominguez Hills, and that they will play together as a team. We haven't seen the roster yet, but we're willing to bet that the team includes most of the same guys from the summer and those who made the trip last weekend at the 1988 4 "D" Stars Labor Day Tournament. The known members of the Future Stars in the current incarnation include:

Nick Booker (6'-5" Jr. SG) from La Jolla Bishop's
Chris Prins (6'-4" Jr. SG) of Escondido Calvin Christian
DJ Hicks (6'-0" Jr. G) from Oceanside El Camino
Wayne Bernard (6'-2" Sr. G) from San Diego Horizon
Nick Trainer (6'-3" Jr. SG/SF) from Fallbrook High
Tim Jackson (6'-2" Sr. SG) from San Diego Pt. Loma High
Tim Brown (6'-4" Jr. SG/SF) from El Cajon Christian
Steve Houle from Carlsbad High
Mike Hausman (La Jolla, Bishop's) if Water Polo permits.
