adidas/Double Pump Discovery Shootout:
JC Division Also--(Sept 16, 1998)

In all the hoopla about the high school division of the adidas/Double Pump Fall Discovery Shootout, we almost forgot to mention the JC Men's Division of the Shootout. The high school games will mostly be over by 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, and that's when the really big guns will appear, guys who were either unsigned as seniors or who didn't qualify, and who are now playing for JC's and looking for rides with the big time D-I's.

The JC Division will feature teams from Chaffey College, College of the Desert, College of the Sequoias, Compton College, Long Beach City College, Los Angeles City College, LA Valley College, Porterville College and Cuesta College.

We'll be watching some of these games throughout the weekend and as soon as we get the rosters, we'll tell you about the teams.
