adidas/Double Pump Discovery Shootout:
IEBP To Send Three Teams--(Sept 16, 1998)

Well, yesterday it looked like IEBP was only going to the Southern Pacific Shootout. Well, they'll have one team over there on Saturday and Sunday, but they'll also have three teams, the All-Stars, the Ballers & Players, and the IEBP Heat playing at the Pump Discovery Shootout at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday and Sunday.

IEBP All Stars--Eileen Carlisle's team, which almost made it to the finals of the dada Fall Hoops Classic, but happened to run into The Hood on their way there and got beaten. IEBP All-Stars, not to be confused with the IEBP Ballers & Players (who will also be there, and played in Long Beach last weekend) feature: Kristian Jordan (6'-1" Sr G) from Etiwanda HS, Damian Knight (6'-0" Sr G) from Corona High, Jamaar Walker (5'-9" Sr PG) from La Sierra HS, a terrifically talented young point who drives and slashes to the hole and has a decent pull up j as well; Jaquay Carlisle (6'-6" Sr F) from J.W. North in Riverside, one of the smoothest shooters and a pretty good defender too, Brennan Martin (6'-6" Jr F) from Trabuco Hills who shoots, drives, plays aggressive defense and has great court sense; Derek Mgbeke (6'-3" Sr SG) from J.W. North who has one of the most accurate 3 point shots around, Kameron Leonard (6'-8" Sr PF/C), a big tough dude who pushed Tyson Chandler around enough so that the 7 footer lost his cool and drew a T. The team also has from J.W. North, and Brennan's brother Brandon Martin (6'-4" Jr. G/F) who didn't play last week due to an injury.

IEBP Ballers & Players- Keith Howard's team, this one consists of David Joiner (6'-6" Jr. F) from Rialto High, Baron Baker (5'-10" Sr. PG) from Fontana, Brandon Hulst (6'-5" Sr. F) from Hughson High, Joseth Dawson (6'-2" Sr. G) from Fontana who was nominated to the All-Tournament team at the dada; Gary Holmes (6'-6" Sr. F) from Fontana High, Trenell Eddings (5'-8" Sr. PG) from Eisenhower in Colton, Marquis Revels (6'-3" Jr. G) from Fontanat, Scott Anderson (6'-4" Sr. G/F) from Fontana, Garreth Reed (6'-8" Jr. F/C) from Montclair High School in Montclair, and Daniel Ware (6'-5"
So. F) from LA Dorsey.

We don't have the IEBP Heat Roster yet, but expect that we'll get it momentarily.
