Home Visits, Home Cooking, Home Movies--(Sept. 13, 1998)

Lots of home visit information at the dada on Saturday:

Jason Kapono is going to be getting a home visit from Minnesota on Tuesday night. The coaches at Minnesota think Jason will fit right in, and that he'll be an immediate star at the 3 position. But we hear that Jason is looking for a situation much closer to home, and now UCLA is involved too, and will be getting a home visit with the Kapono family next week. Kapono will also be getting a home visit with USC and, surprisingly, San Diego State.

UCLA will be taking a home visit on Tuesday in Alaska with the Boozer family, that is if he hasn't already committed to the Bruins while he and Lavin are in Fresno this weekend at the adidas/EBO Sweet 16 Classic.

Word has it too that Mr. Boozer requested that all coaches who were making home visits to the Boozer clan consent to have the entire home visit videotaped. . . we also hear that John Thompson told Mr. Boozer, politely, no thanks.

Eric Rowher is also getting a couple of home visits, with some schools that will go nameless for now. Stay tuned.

And Gilbert Arenas had a home visit this afternoon with Lute Olsen. Hopefully, Gilbert was given an offer and accepted it. We'll find out soon, no doubt.
