Glen McGowan Gets Some Attention Too--(Sept. 15, 1998)

Yeah, yeah, we know that WestCoastHoops also put up a note about this, but we got an e-mail from Glen McGowan's high school coach, David Goosen last night. Ok, so we were busy at work, and as a result, we're a bit late with this, but better late than never, right? Dave is very involved in helping Glen with his recruiting, and Glen (6'-7" Sr. SG/PF) had a home visit with coach Aggers from Eastern Washington University last night. Based on what we heard, we'd have to say that the home visit went really well, and that EWU is probably the leader for his services at this point. Glen played sporadically this summer, having some foot problems, but when he was on he played tremendously well. Glen grew from 6'-1" to 6'-7" all in the span from his sophomore year to his junior year, and he may not be done yet.

Look for him this weekend at the Pump Discovery Shootout, and look for lots of other schools to get involved. We'll have further details this weekend.
