Oregon Comes To SoCal To Pump It Up--(Sept. 10, 1998)

Mike Dunleavy (6'-5" Sr. SG) from Portland Jesuit, one of the most highly recruited players on the West Coast, and son of the current Portland Trailblazers and former Lakers' coach Dunleavy, will play at the Pump Discovery Shootout on September 19 & 20 at Cal State Dominguez Hills. Not that he needs any more attention, but look for several schools to take yet another look at the smooth shooting senior, including Stanford, Duke and Kentucky.

And joining Dunleavy will be fellow Oregonian Cameron Carr (6'-8" Sr. F) from West Linn High. Other than having made a terrific showing during the summer, Carr's recruitment at this point remains pretty much a mystery to those of us in SoCal, so it will be good to get a chance to catch up with him next weekend.
