Fall Discovery Shootout
Brea Wildcats Roster & Schedule--(Sept. 19, 1998)
The Brea Wildcats, aka, the Brea-Olinda Wildcats really are the school team, wearing different uniforms and coached not by their regular coach by by Kyle Dodd's father. This is a quick, not too tall group of guys, featuring some of the top guard talent in Southern California. Jarrett Skrivfars played last weekend with BWBA I very well against the Arizona Stars. Kyle Dodd has been one of our favorite points for more than a few years now, and he's finally got the size to go along with his skills. He drives, has a very quick first step, runs the floor well, and is very hard on pushing the break. He's more of a slash and penetrate guard than he is a shooter, and he distributes the ball well. Here's the roster:
Jarrett Skrivfars (6'-4" Sr.
G/F)
Dexter Villapando (5'-9" Sr. PG/SG)
Landon Lewis (6'-1" So. G)
Kyle Dodd (6'-0" Sr. PG)
Chase Ulieny (5'-9" Jr. PG)
Ryan Wilber (6'-4" Jr. G/F)
Ryan Moore (6'-3" So. F)
Travis Shook (6'-6" Sr. F)
Rick Boehm (6'-4" Sr. F)
Tim Pagano (6'-0" Sr. G/F)
The Brea Wildcats play Anaheim (which is really Anaheim Canyon in disguise, at least that's how it looks so far) at 10:00 am. on Saturday on Court 1 at CSUDH, and then again on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. when they will meet the Valley Slam on Court 4. On Sunday, they will play the CA/NY Rhinos at 3:00 p.m. on Court 2, and then will face N. Riverside on Court 1 at 7:00 p.m.
