Boozer News: UCLA Recruiting News Update--(Sept. 14, 1998)

According to assistant coach Jim Saia, UCLA will be meeting with the Boozer family tonight. Coach Saia flew up last night to Seattle from Long Beach, where he was scheduled to spend the night, and meet up with Coach Lavin today. Both of them were then scheduled to fly up to Alaska and were set to meet with the Boozer family tonight.

We are aware that other services, notably Tracy Pierson at WestCoastHoops is reporting that "Coach Lavin will be in Carlos's home on 9/24" but that is contrary to what coach Saia told us last night.

Oh well, the important point is that UCLA will be visiting the Boozer household, and sometime, hopefully sooner rather than later, we'll all know what's going on and where Carlos will be playing next year. Unfortunately, we have a feeling it will be later, rather than sooner, given Carlos' list of home visits and official visits he plans to take.
