This Hawaiian thing is really catchy, don't you think. We got a message a few moments ago from "Coach Sam" Alipio, who coaches the young Total Impact squad. Here's what he had to say:

Jamayne "Spud" Potts 5'10" SG So Saint Monica

A young team just breaking out into the scene. Look for our guards to be gunning deep from the outside. We lack the 6'10" dunker, however will make it up with team-play, speed, and shooting. Majority of the players will be starting on their Varsity team this year. See you all on the court and keep the ball bouncing.

We know a bunch of these guys, and they'll do pretty well. Potts is a lightning quick guard, while Eric Geffner (who usually plays with Harvard-Westlake, Maccabi or 4-D) is a great rebounder, who can also step out an hit the three. Chris Hooks may be playing varsity this season at Harvard-Westlake and he's quick and accurate. A fun team to watch.
