In the consolation bracket, the following happened:

On Friday, New Mexico lost to Sports Express 77-78.

Seattle Rotary lost to the Arizona Stars on Friday 60-51.

Seattle then met New Mexico today at 2:30 to play for 13th place, and Seattle won 64-60.

The winner of the New Mexico-Sports Express game (Sports Express) then played Bloomington at 4:00 p.m. today for the right to advance to the 9th place portion of the bracket, and Bloomington won 63-42.

Bloomington advances and will play for 9th place tomorrow against the Portland Legends, who beat the Arizona Stars today at 4:00 p.m. 61-55.

The Arizona Stars and Sports Express will meet tomorrow (Sunday) at 9:00 a.m. to play for 11th place.

And because Houston dropped out at the last minute, there will not be a 14th place game tomorrow, and New Mexico gets that title by virtue of it's loss to Seattle today.
