Here's who was selected to the Junior All-Star Teams from this year's first session of the West Coast All-Star Camp to play in the senior all-star game. Two teams were formed from this group, and they duked it out for 20 minutes today before a host of college coaches, other players, parents and high school coaches:

A great selection, but clearly there were more juniors in the camp than could be accomodated so some of the better juniors were certainly disappointed not to have been chosen. Nevertheless, this was a fine group, led by a great group of point guards and shooting guards, most notably, E.J. (co-MVP), Andre, Russell, Shea, little Darius, Tim Thomas, and Kevin Brown. We also really like Joel Gerlach, and the other co-MVP Casey Cook, who is a big-time prospect who next year will have a lot of colleges clamoring for him. This game went by quicker than it seemed, and it was a fun one to watch, very up-tempo, with lots of great guard play. We can't wait to see the next sessions group of juniors to see how they stack up with this fine group. Congratulations to all of the junior all-stars. .
