Justin Davis Headed For UCLA?--(July 24, 1998)

Lots of talk yesterday around Dominguez about Justin Davis (6'-8" Sr. PF) from St. Joseph Notre Dame in Alameda. While most people have assumed that Cal was the odds-on favorite to get Justin next year, it looks like Davis and members of his family, may be showing a greater interest in UCLA, and we'd put UCLA and Cal about neck and neck on this one. With Davis and Boozer, UCLA would not have to worry as much about whether Gadzuric and/or Moiso stay for the full four years, which these days is becoming a rarity.
