Hey, we didn't make this stuff up, and we have no idea why when the organizers got to the "ZZ" Pool, they didn't begin again with AAA, but they didn't, instead opting to use characters such as @,#, $, and so on.

Anyway, here are the Pool Play results as of Friday, July 17, at 11:51 a.m. for Pools DD through @@ (which actually would be "FFF"). As further results come in from other pools, we'll have those too. Teams with ** have qualified for the Open Tournament; * means that a team has qualified for the "A" Tournament. PD means point differential, and is limited to a maximum of 20 points per game.

The teams who are kicking butt in these pools include the Madison Broncos, Stay in the Game, Michigan Mustangs, and for all you SoCal fans, the LA Rockfish (I) team. The Rockfish Dolphins are also doing all right, and they will advance to the open tournament as well with a record of 2-1. DC Assault looks impressive, as does Houston Select and Green Valley. Oakland Slam-N-Jam was 2-0 with one more game to play against undefeated Salpointe, and both of them will already advance to the Open Tourney. Cambryland Foundation I is also winning big too.

We'll have the completed results hopefully by later tonight, but this should give you a fair idea of who's going to advance and who isn't.
