Palo Verde Is Now Las Vegas High--(July 16, 1998)

We didn't notice this until now, but anyone planning on coming to Vegas should make a note of the fact that all of the games scheduled for Palo Verde High have not been taking place there.

They were all transferred to Las Vegas High after the Palo Verde Main Gym suffered water damage last week.

And just to be sure the jinx continues, as we reported in a separate article, the backboard at Las Vegas' Auxiliary Gym was shattered yesterday afternoon, resulting in the games scheduled there having to be moved yet again, this time to a local junior high.
