Ron Haywood Promoted To Head Coach--(June 5, 1998)

Ron Haywood has been hired as girls' coach at Highland High. Haywood has served as interim coach for the last month after the resignation of Tim Knight. In his only season as coach, Knight guided the Bulldogs to an 18-6 record and their first playoff appearance.
