Camps, Camps & More Camps--(June 17, 1998)

For those not going to either the Nike or adidas camps in Indianapolis, Ind., or Teaneck, N.J., (and maybe for some of you who are), there are still a ton of other camp opportunities remaining in SoCal.

ARC and Eddie Jones will be holding the Eddie Jones Camp at North Hollywood High from June 22-26. Call Rich Goldberg at (818) 995-3761 for further information.

The Pump's West Coast All-Star Camps are set for July 7-10 and July 11-14 at Cal State Dominguez; be sure to get your application in soon though, because the camps are just about filled. And Double Pump, Inc., will be having a new website going online any day now, so if you want further information about the camp, and reports and updates about the goings-on during the sessions, we hear that some of this may be available online directly from the West Coast All-Star Camps. If you're interested in West Coast All-Stars Camps, call Double Pump, Inc at 1-800-678-0935.

In addition to West Coast All-Star Camps, Frank Burlison notes that James Cotton, the former Long Beach State standout who was a rookie with the Seattle SuperSonics this past season, will hold a camp for boys 8-14 July 11-12 at Bellfower St. John Bosco, his high school alma mater. The cost is $100. For information, call (562) 989-6816.

Dinos Trigonis is also holding a camp which will compete with the first session of the Pump Camp, called the RimRattler camp. Details have previously been written up here, and if you are still interested, Dinos Trigonis at (310) 669-2307 or Etop Udo-Ema at (562) 901-8592.
