Mashia Cleared To Play For USC--(May 27, 1998)

USC women's basketball point guard Erica Mashia has been cleared to play after recovering from a major hip injury that sidelined her the past two seasons and appeared to have ended her promising career. Mashia, an All-Pac-10 Freshman team performer in 1996, will have two seasons of eligibility remaining when she rejoins the Trojans for 1998-99 season.
